Mail from Zejian! She sent me the freshly risographed PARTY PLANS #1, which collects her epic backstabbin’-cheatin’-cave torture-space opera bro comics starring Victor Volcano and co. I’m a huge fan of Ze’s work. Her comics are always really funny and have inventive character design and layouts. I like my romance stories with a handful of sparkly anime eyes and brutal hitman vengeance so this book is totally my thing.
It’s great to finally have these stories in one volume since they’ve been scattered across several anthologies over the past year. The Damien Desertt story from Snakebomb #2 is reprinted here and it looks killer on heavy cream paper. I even got a special thanks in the back of the book and this drawing of a chipped skull.
